The future is bright for third grader, Kushal Sai Sanka! The elementary schooler’s ‘Nourishing Spoon’ invention landed third place at the 5th Annual Invention Convention U.S. Nationals — but fellow inventor, David Podrog believes Sanka’s concept could go further than just that!
Kushal Sai Sanka isn’t your average third grader. She’s kind, insightful and wise beyond her years. Her submission to the 5th Annual Invention Convention U.S. Nationals — an invention which earned her third place in the competition — is demonstrative of these qualities.
A concept called the ‘Nourishing Spoon,’ Kushal Sai Sanka’s invention is, in her own words “unique, healthy and environmentally friendly.” In simple terms, it’s a spoons made with all-natural, biodegradable ingredients, such as jowar, all-purpose flour, salt, sugar and fruit and vegetable flavoring. The spoons are not only safe for the environment, but also safe to eat!
Inventor, David Podrog is incredibly impressed by this ecofriendly and health conscious invention. He is particularly surprised by how young the inventor is! According to the serial entrepreneur, Kushal Sai Sanka is one to watch. Her ‘Nourishing Spoon’ invention just might change the world!
